Muhle and Iridium

Does it really get any better than this? I received my Muhle R89 and iridium sample blade this week so this morning I loaded it up, whipped up some MWF, did my normal three pass and touch up shave, slapped some Aqua Velva on and man, do I feel great today!

No, that is a pretty solid pair. The iridums are really close to the G7O Sharp Edges in my book... The Muhle I think is a better made razor than the EJ DE89, which is saying a lot (the feel and handle is just a little different).

I love my 7 O'Clock SharpEdges so I'm really keen to give the Iridiums a try. If they're better than the Gillettes I'll be very surprised.

Of Super Max Sunrises, Derby, Iridiums, and Feather, the best by far in my R89 are the Iridiums, no question.

I very similar combination that I love is the Muhle R89 with the Super Iridium blades. WOW. A must try if you have a Muhle razor with the 2009 head..
Or if you have an Super Iridium , go buy an Muhle Razor . Just kiddin' about the last one.
