Mrs Workingdog is Faultering

Ive gone from SWMBO sneering at my move away from M3 world to her liking the smell of my soaps.

More recently this has moved to "Youre looking after yourself more. Have you got another woman ?"

Tonight things have progressed to "I keep moving your shaving stuff and I'm thinking about using one myself but that thing is heavy (Futur)"

I can see a shared interest emerging here .

Quick put together a kit for her as soon as possible!!

There is even a Lady Gillette for sale on the B/S/T currently, which would be great for her as she thinks the Futur is too heavy.

I bought my wife a K1 champagne lady gillette and after using for a week or so , now it sits
Her cheif complaint " it takes longer to shave and leaves my legs VERY ITCHY!" even with using lotion etc...

My only guess is that the shave is much closer, possibly removing dead skin and leaving the skin more sensitive....

oh well, cant win them all.

At this point, you need to try a different soap or cream, and perhaps some different blades.

Guys here search to great lengths to find favorite combos that give them the best results, there's no reason to believe it would be different with a womans legs.

Woohoo! Another potential female convert.
I've been wet shaving for a year now and can pretty much use any DE, SE or straight now just as quickly as I used to use my cartridge. The results are better and I found out how to make a lather that doesn't make me itch (sounds like her lather was too dry, or contained high fragrance content that might have irritated her).

I hope she loves the experience! And remind her how good it is for the environment too.

The environmental side. I hadnt thought about that.

As she runs a small waste management company that moves a lot of waste to more sustainable / recycling routes this will appeal to her.

Yup... Soaps/creams with good ingredients are better than chemical based goos. And once she's done with a blade you can just pop it in an old soap can turned into a blade bank. Once that's full just solder it closed and it can be recycled!

That's great news! Just play dumb and when she buys herself some gear, Snatch it!!! When she gets a scent that you really like, tell her you don't like it and when she stops using it simply slide it to your side of the vanity top. Presto free product. Oh, and I hear that PILS is great for ladies legs, see where im going?

I also have gotten the "your looking after yourself more" sentiment, and in more ways then just grooming. Caring for my shave has lead to a healther life attitude for me.
