these puppys:)
now whats mountain hill walking boots do you have with or with out crampons.
would love to see yours :)

Looks like a nice boot you have there. For crampon use and even for non-crampon mountaineering, I wear La Sportiva Trangos -

I'm looking at picking up a pair of La Sportiva Thunder II GTX for summer use and milder climbs, since the Trangos can be overkill depending upon the situation. Here are the Thunder II GTXs -

Alpinism is my life. OP are you asking a question about crampons compatible with your boots without toe welts or just pictures of boots and poons?

These are my Zamberlan boots, I finally got them broke in after a decade... Or did the boots break my feet in?

This pic is from 2009 and I was using a Grivel rambo 2 Mono point crampon then.

Now I have switched over to Petzl Sarken crampons as shown in the pic above. Petzl IMHO is making the finest ice climbing gear today. Tomorrow is anybodies guess.

@JaggerDragger- nice photos. I've seen guys (and gals) doing this in the Yosemite area many times, and while it looks exhilarating, heights are not my thing. Still, good for you.

I have the same boots and find them light and comfortable, but you have to wear pretty thick socks as they don't do too well if it gets cold. I've got a second pair of boots (Asolo GV) I use when I stay above alpine for a weekend of climbing.
