So I'd really appreciate some help on figuring out the age of my project blades.
#1
A George Wostenholm&Son original &true (pipe logo) razor Sheffield England (all marking on tang).
The printing on the other side of the blade is a picture of the pipe logo followed by
The original and only genuine pipe razor
manufactured solely by
GEO. Wostenholm & Son
Mark Granted A D 1694
There is also another pipe logo on the tang
Scales appear to be either celluloid or bakelite, with a lead spacer, the blade itself is a 5/8 half to 3/4 hollow with spanish point
#2
George Wostenholm & Son
Sole manufacturer of the original & rust spot (pipe logo) razor
Sheffield England
This writing is also on the tang
The other side just has a logo of a pipe on the tang
No idea what the original scales were on this razor, it has some (relatively crude) home made wooden scales that appear to have been carved... The blade is a 6/8 square point and half to 3/4 hollow
#3
Marked on the tang as
Ford & Medley
Sheffield England
Also has the words Arrow Razor with an Arrow going through it on the face of the blade, nothing on the back
Celluloid
The blade is a lot closer to what I would call full hollow, with a round point.
TIA
