I definitely plan on shaving with it at least once, but the condition it's in dictates that it go in the display case afterwards.

I was watching that one...apparently not close enough! 
Congrats on the razor. I was under the impression that it was NOS from a pharmacy or something like that. If it were me I would never shave with it. It's the best example of this razor I have seen.
There are plenty of user grade Tucksways to be had...there most certainly are not that many Tuckaways in the apparent condition that yours is in.
Heck you even have the cloth that covers the outer! Amazing! Yes I envy you! That's my .02...YMMV!
When you get it I would love to see more pics!

That is one of the few razors I would want to have for a display piece! I should check here in the Safety Razor section more often to see such finds as these!

I was bidding too but with exchange rates and budgetary restraints it got too rich for me.
SO glad it went to a member of the 'B&B Family' who will appreciate it, although I'd suggest that this is a keeper and you get another to use. Some are just too good
