minor Dovo Special repair

I have a year old, 5/8 Dovo Special (1516) Tortise Shell with a damaged silver decal. The corner of the swoop that goes under the Dovo name snagged on a towel and has lifted up. It creased, so it won't lay back down, and it snags on everything it touches now. Is this something that can just be pulled off, or will it look like a damaged straight?
Is this something that can easily be replaced, or will it need experienced hands to get it fixed?
All suggestions welcomed. You can respond to this post or PM me. If I need to send it out to someone, I'd like to get it honed as well.

If it were my razor, I would have the scales worked on to polish out the inlaid area.

Not ideal, but at least the scales would look presentable !

The 'Special' is an excellent razor, and is one of my favourites

Classic Shaving sells replacements for about $30...can't go wrong there.

Thank you for pointing me to the replacement scales at Classic Shaving. I pulled the silver decal off and the glue that holds it on is about as hard as epoxy. I don't see how I can polish it off without leaving a scar on the scale. I've looked at the videos on restoring and this should be pretty straightforward.....and then I can go looking for a restoration project - it never ends.
