"Got Shoes?"
How many of you have them? What do you think of them? Post some pics if you have them. I have always had my eye on the one offered by Daines & Hathaway but I have heard mixed reviews about them. They are sharp looking although, from what I gather, they don't hold very much compared to your standard Dopp kit.

Hi has anyone bought this item ? or one like it (Col. Littleton etc) and if so can you post how much it fits etc, I am very tempted to buy one, but do not want to risk it being to small for me to use ( I fly 1-2 times a week and stay overnight interstate for work) .

I love the style of these types of bags, and would love to buy ine, just looking to see anyone else's experience with how much they could hold.

I've never owned one, but I like the look of them, especially the ones that hang.
My Dopp kit works well for me, though. I kind of like just throwing all my gear into one small bag without having to worry about it.

I have a hanging one of that type that I bought from Cabela's, but it only folds in half. It holds everything that I need and cost me less than $20. Has lasted for more than four years worth of travel so far.

Have that very one. The only issue I had originally was putting my full size bottles in it. I bought several travel sized bottles into which I put hydrosol, asb, etc and am now completely enamored with it. I have a Mohawk Clubby hairbrush that I always used for travel that is a perfect fit, etc. :thumbup1:

It looks good, but I must say that I've been using a dopp kit since I first went into the service in 1966. I think over the years I've only used 3, and I just wore the 3rd one out and started on my 4th.

This one is a real nice leather one, and at this stage of my life should last me the rest of it. :thumbup1:

That does look pretty sharp. I have one Dopp kit I've had forever. Recently I went out to find a replacement and got this Swiss Gear travel kit. I was a little leery of it at first, but must admit I was pleasantly surprised. Now, this doesn't do much for me aesthetically, but it is very functional. Like a traditional Dopp kit, it fits everything I might need, but adds a modicum of organization.

I use the Tri-Fold from RedOxx, holds a ton of gear, hangs from the towel bar too. The mesh interior makes it perfect for that sometimes wet shaving gear.

Made in the USA by ex paratroopers, their gear is tough and made to last.

That's sharp. I like that it doesn't have the Colonel logo on it, but those have a detachable lining inside so you can wash them.

I have one and find it works very well. But as you noted, it doesn't hold much and is bulkier than the standard Dopp kit.
