Mild SE Razor

Currently using Gillette Tech DE razor 1950's model.
Really like the mildness of the razor.
Ive aquired a GEM and EverReady 1912 models.
Would they be as mild as the Tech?

I think you will really like the EverReady '12
Mine's smooth... I use my ER '12 when I want laid back easy shaves

My main razors are ER 1914,ER Streamline,ER 1924 Shovelhead and GEM Damaskeene

You probably want either a Featherweight or a push button for that level of mildness, but give the 1912 a try, first, and see how you like it. The SEs are very different from DEs, so that comparisons are difficult.

IMO no, the1912 is much more aggressive than a Tech. The 1912 is my favorite SE razor and I hope you enjoy it.

+1 on the featherweight.
Remember that the Tech is mild and very *safe*, meaning you can apply a lot of pressure and get a great shave without any damage nor irritation. Regardless of the model, SE shaving is not as forgiving.

Try a Gem G Bar . Nice looking and mild . The Gem Micromatic is another mild and pleasant razor.

The 1912 is plenty gentle (maybe not as mild as the tech, OK). Just pay attention your first few shaves and keep it very light. I bet you like it!
