I just ordered up 6 GD's for some fun. I want to order some microfasteners for the scales. To those that use them, what do you order from the site? Which bolt/nut and what size? Links would be cool. Thanks for the help!

yes, part numbers would be really cool, especially for a 1/8 bolt (whatever) for pinning scales and blade together with a nut.
I happen to be the proud owner of 50 size 0 bolts with a 1/8th" threaded post. so, super stoked about that, may B/S/T them.

If you have any intention of using them for real then get these little ones

If you are going to actually use these for pivots then you need the wrenchs (2) and you need to call for those they are 3/32 hex these might be listed online now I haven't checked in years...

Nutdrivers are pretty easy to find in those sizes. Easier than wrenches, anyway. Look in computer/electronics tools, not mechanics tools. Needlenose pliers work good enough, but be careful not to scratch the scales.

After placing an order with these guys I noticed I was charged sales tax. I just looked at their address... they are located 20 minutes from my house. wow. Never knew that. Going to call and see if I can just go pick up my order.

Drove over to microfasteners today, only ten minutes from where I live. Though its a small office and warehouse, they do business there as well as online. There were three very nice ladies working there, super helpful. Good company, I would recommend them to anyone.
