Merz in Chicago

Reading through some Chicago specific threads, it would seem that Merz in Lincoln Square is one of wetshaving's mythic valhallas, so I'll try and make it up there this weekend.

So far, my wetshaving journey has led to the following:

Truefitt Grafton cream and balm
Truefitt Rose cream
L'Occitaine Cade soap and aftershave splash
Art of Shaving sandalwood soap and balm

Hardware wise, I have:
1940s Superspeed
1930s New (haven't yet tried)
Gem Single Edge (haven't yet tried)
Truefitt and Hill silvertip brush.

What are the must haves that Merz will have in stock?

Great store and very nice / knowledgeable people working there, a must stop if you're in the greatest City in the world. Hit the Truefitt store at 900 N Michigan as well.

Finally made it up today. What I've bought so far has been fairly expensive, and I wanted to lower my average $/shave. Based upon reviews here, I picked up a tub of Cella soft soap (love the bitter almond scent), Proraso cream and regular (with alcohol) and rose (w/o alc) witch hazel. I plan to get some Aqual Velva and Aqua Velva Musk to match up with the proraso and cella respectively.

Also picked up the Presidential Sampler of bath soaps from Caswell-Massey and a couple of bars of Pre de Provence bath soap.

Oh yeah, they also set me up with a bunch of Trumpers samples: violet, rose, lime and sandalwood.

I went to the Merz Display at Macy's yesterday. Killing time waiting for my daughter and grand daughter to fly in. Picked up a Cella tub, a Proraso white tub, Clubman Eau de Quinine snd Special Reserve.
