Merkur Progress - Regular vs Long Handle

I really like my "regular" handle Merkur Progress, with the exception that I find it harder to "handle" than any of my other 8 DE safety razors.

Is there someone out there who has tried both the Reglar and the Long Handle Merkur Progress? If so, how did they compare?

I've tried the regular progress and the long handled progress with a custom knob. Completely different razors IMO. I no longer have the regular Progress.
