Somebody asked me how the Futur holds up after years of use, and asked if there are any problems with the moving parts wearing out. I've had mine for about a year now and have never had any issues with it. It's solid. It feels like it would last a couple lifetimes, and I don't think I've heard of anybody having theirs break down. Anybody had any issues?

I've had my polished Futur since 2004 and have not had any problems with it. At first, the adjustment mechanism was tight and I sliced my thumb a few times but it's gotten smoother and easier to turn over the years.
I could only see the clip springs that hold the top portion of the head on, possibly getting loose. Would be an easy fix too. Doesn't seem like too much to go wrong with these razors.
I have 2---they are both 2-3 years old---no issues whatsoever
Looking at my Futur, I have wondered the same. The clip springs look thinner than a paperclip. But I will keep one in the den, it has to be the sleekest, most modern looking razor around!
