Merkur Delay?

I posted this on the Safety Razors forum, and thought it might get more attention here.

I recall seeing something a short while ago about a problem that was delaying shipments of Merkur razors to U.S retailers. WCS seems to be out of some of the more popular items. Is this true? If so, does anyone know the status?

I also saw something, I forget where, indicating that Merkur was running into production difficulties related to the economic problems affecting so many countries. There were production facilities—not Merkur's own, but affiliates they rely on for some parts—that were running part-time, and this was slowing the overall production rate. I wish I knew the current status, but I don't.
