Merkur 37C Slant

I am seriously considering buying a 37C slant. I have used an Edwin Jagger DE89L for about 2 months and enjoy the smooth shaves that I get from it. I am looking for something that gets closer though. The 37C seems to be a better design for cutting close with the guillotine type design. Are there any tips or tricks for using this razor? Do you use the same blade angle as a regular DE, meaning start with the top of the razor perpendicular to the cheek and rotate down until the blade touches? I have hear about blade alignment issues with this razor, any truth to that or tips to rectify it? I have sensitive skin on my neck. Is this razor a good choice? Besides Merkur, are there any other manufacturers that are making a slant design? I really like the fit and finish of my Jagger. Any advice, tips, and opinions are appreciated.

Based on my experience, I use the same technique with my 37c as I do with my 38c, and my vintage DE razors: same angle, no pressure, WTG, XTG, and touch-ups and buffing when necessary. Haven't had any blade placement issues. Sometimes it seems like the blade is a little more exposed on one side than the other, but this hasn't affected my shaves.
