Merkur 180?

A local barber supply has a Merkur 180 in his case.

I haven't seen it reviewed here---it gets mostly great reviews on Amazon.

Does anyone have this razor? How does it compare to the highly acclaimed HD?

I believe the Merkur 180 is the same razor as the 23C. I have 23C's and have seen pictures of the 180 and they look exactly the same. I purchased mine at Atlanta Barber and Beauty Supply. Their product number, if I am not mistaken is a 23C. They have the best price ($21.95) on the 23C or 180. I also have a 33C and a 34C (HD). They all shave exactly the same and that is very good.

180 is the 23C. It's a great razor.

The long handle is better than the heavy HD handle IMHO.
