Merkur 15 C

First shave today with a Merkur 15C - 3 Pcs Open comb on a 2 days growth.
The finish and detail of Merkur is lower then Edwin Jagger to me but it is in line with my Merkur 34C.

VERY efficient shave. I am very happy with the result. 9/10. Easy BBS in 3 passes. No problem. I have a rather hard hair.
The razor is a tad aggressive (I ended with a couple of blood points) - maybe I have not been careful enough.

OC razors require very accurate angle, make sure the handle is far from the face as possible. Also razor is too light which leads to using more pressure

I have to admit that razor looks fantastic. And that's what made me buy it.
On the other hand it is tooo mild for my beard type. Whatever blade and angle I tried I couldn't achieve BBS, only DFS. So I gave it away

That was just my first shave with this razor. I et shave daily for the past 3 years already

I bought a Merkur 15C several months ago and I'm very pleased with it. Very well made as are all Merkur razors. The first open comb razor I bought. I was scared of open comb razors, but I've found the 15C to be fairly mild and it delivers a great shave without nicks or cuts. I have a coarse beard and only shave every other day, so, as ads say, your results may vary.
