Meijers shave goods

So I'm sure most of you have scoured every local supermarket and drug store you can find for shaving supplies, but I just thought I'd share. I usually go to walmart for groceries because its closest to my apartment, so I periodically check the shaving aisle there. I've also looked at all the Walgreens and CVS's in the area, as well as some smaller grocery stores.

For some reason though, I had never checked meijer. Turns out they have some good stuff. I picked up aqua velva ice sport because I haven't seen it anywhere else, as well as Skin Bracer. They also had Pacific Shaving Company cream!

I also found Kiss My Face, unscented and lavender! It wasn't near the rest of the shaving supplies though. I believe it was near the hand soap...anyway, if you have a meijer, check it out!

Oh Meijers YES!
Great store brand DE blades without the "bend over" pricing of Walgreens or CVS,the store brand knock off of Aqua Velva,Old Spice(darn close to vintage OS IMOHO)and Skin Bracer as well.

Agreed, they have a nice stock of items. They are the only other B&M I've seen that has AV Ice Sport besides Dominicks, and those seem to always be going out of business.

I've seen ice sport in sweet bay supermarkets in Florida, along with the vdh deluxe kit and the usual suspects.

unfortunately didn't make it to the shave aisle when in Meier last week while visiting Michigan

I've found Somerset's pre-shave oil there too.

We're not making our annual trip to Michigan thus year and one of my regrets about that decision is it means no visits to Meijer.
