Thanks celestino, but the scales are just plain ol' plastic - although I do think the razor was harldy used when I got it from ebay cheaply so the scales have stayed in good condition.
edit: unless you mean the design on the scales, because that's just a reflection.

I'm going to agree with Ravi about the amber handle on that brush. If that radioactivity becomes a concern for you, send it my way
