Was highest bidder on a Matador Diplomat razor last week and it arrived today. I think it went very cheap because it looked like this in the listing:
Anyway, I saw something there and decided to take a chance. For those of you that might not know, this Matador is a vintage Swiss razor company and has no relationship to the current Matador which is an Indian company.
When it arrived, I saw that the pics depicted the razor almost exactly:
So I called it my Matador Diplomat Kermit the Frog Edition.
So pulled out my heavy stuff - Dawn Concentrate, nylon bristle brush, 3M green pad, ultrasonic cleaner, pint of white vinegar, Mothers metal polish, and a piece of worn out 800 grit wet/dry sandpaper.
Started this afternoon and worked in between cooking dinner making sure to not mix the vinegar/Dawn solution with my chicken stock and not using the nylon brush to scrub my carrots.
Just finished cleaning up the Diplomat and my dishes.
BOOYAH!
Now I got to figure out a way to sneak in a test shave while doing SEptember!
