Master Bay Rum and Barbasol

Recently I got a bottle of Master Bay Rum and from what I've been reading it's the newer formulation.
I'm new to bay rum and have used it everyday for about 2 or 3 weeks now and it's been smelling the same.

Today I needed a super fast shave so I used Barbasol(India) regular that I have on hand.

The interesting thing is I could have sworn I was wearing Old Spice AS and not bay rum.

Any thoughts?

I always thought that Barbasol smelled a bit like Booster Mosswood.

It did seem to fade into a bay rum but seemed like Old Spice for a good long while.

I'm only aware of Barbasol Pacific Rush and Brisk. Neither one smells anything like OS. Is there another A/S?

Been so long since I used Barbasol I cannot remember the smell too well. I recall it being soapy.

No what I meant was I used Barbasol canned goo and the bay rum AS.
I re-read my post and realize it's a bit ambiguous. The smell of the Barbasol mixed with bay rum seems to smell like OS.
