I don't know why but every time I use Mama Bear's Lime Ice I get a BBS Shave. I have many MB Soaps but none seems to get the job done like Lime Ice. It is the menthol? Is it something in the Lime extract? Or is it all in my head? Has anyone else experienced the same thing with Lime Ice?

I haven't used any of Mama Bear's mentholated soaps, so I don't know how strong the menthol is. You may be using more pressure than you normally would, but don't feel it because of the numbing effect of the menthol.
Your skin likes it!
Then again, what other equipment r u using and is it consistent throughout when u use other soaps?

I have had the same experience with Mama Bear's Rosemary Mint. BBS with minimal effort. I think she just has some great soaps.

Most definitely Marty, 99% of the time I am using a 1930's era Open Comb Ball Handled New and a Feather blade. The only thing that is different is the number of shaves on the blade. The blade I used today had 8 shaves on it and I am using the same prep.
