Which Mama Bears should I get. I have Mysore Sandalwood which I like the scent it shave and lathers great.

I don't know what scents are popular but here are the scents that I like as far as shaving products:

Speick
AOS Sandalwood
Tabac

How about Frankincense EO or Tobacco EO? I've only tried her EO soaps (Orange Orange and Bergamot, which are both great!).

Lilac Ice (to go with your Lilac Vegetal);

Lime Ice (to go with your Royall Lyme);

I don't recall which of those are the EO scents, but can tell you that I've preferred those. Tuscan Memories is at or near the top of my list. Marauder's Citrus is another one that's stuck around.

Only the Carribbean is EO. I had such good luck with the regular non EO so I am afraid to switch.

Keeping in mind YMMV and all that...

I find MB's EO-based soaps to have a natural, less synthetic scent that more effectively masks the underlying sweetness that seems present in each of the 8-10 MB soaps I've tried.

Masculine Musk is a great scent that has some orange aroma to it. I bought MB's cologne spray to go with it and am very happy with the duration of the scent.

I personally have'nt tried it yet but base on what you have listed, it sounds like you may enjoy Ye Olde Barbershop.
I have yet to read a bad review of it & it appears to be a favorite among many.

I have Honey Bees Ye old barbershop. I love the smell. I don't know if Mama Bears is similar. Honey Bee soaps burn my face and think Mama Bear shaves and lathers better.

EO stands for "essential oil." Some of her soaps only have essential oils for their scent; others have what are known as "fragrance oils." Some people prefer the scent of essential oils because they tend to be less "synthetic," and some people have more skin sensitivity issues with fragrance oils (although essential oil sensitivity can and does occur).

Essential Oils only. It's Mama Bear's 100% natural line.


As for OP's poll and inquiry on scents, I haven't tried Hinoki Wood yet but I do have a sample of Bonsai and is smells great - very crisp, clean, mild woodsy scent (I grow a few bonsai and it smells just like my juniper).

Or if you prefer more of a cologne scent Dublin Tweed is definitely worth considering - smells just like Creed's Irish Tweed only at nearly 1/10th the cost (Creed's IT sells for something like $170. Fortunately I had picked up a small sample vial a couple months back for four of five bucks and still had it on hand so was able to compare the two. Mama B's is a nearly a dead ringer for the original. (Great job Sue!)
