Mama Bear's Lilac Ice

Wow...what an amazing shave this morning. I love the smell of lilac and this soap delivers! I faced lathered it with my TOBS brush and it was an amazing experience. When I rinsed my face it felt so smooth and moisturized. I am already thinking about tomorrow's shave with it!

I used my 1907 Single Ring with a Feather blade, TOBS brush with the Mama Bear's Lilac Ice, Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel and finished it all up with, you guessed it, Pinaud Lilac Vegetal!!!

How do you think Ice and Lilac combine?
That's scentwise what is holding me back.

I like almost every MB out there, but I cannot seem to be able to pull the trigger on this particular one.

The ice part is icey and didn't really add anything scentwise that did anything to hide the lilacs!

I'm using it again this morning and will pay attention for anything other than the smell of lilacs.

I've got the lilac and lavender soap and it is deelish.

I've also got the lime ice and it's not bad either, but not #1 in my book. I think maybe im not a big 'mentholated guy'. Love the scents though.

Lilac Ice. It sounds like a great soap.

The name is a bit unfortunate, though: the mind wants to read it as "Lice." At least my mind does.

I'll have to give Mama Bear's a try one of these days. What soaps would you say it's similar to?

I'm hesitant to buy anything with the scent of Lilac. I love the smell of Lilac bushes, but It doesn't sound tempting in a shave soap. The way you guys are talking about it I might have to try it out, but maybe just a sample

It is a great smell and the soap gives a great shave. Tonight, I use the Mama Bear's Rose Ice, Thayer's Rose Petal Witch Hazel, and Mama Bear's Rose Milk. mmmmm
