Mama Bear Suggestions

This morning I tried my first Mama Bear soap, which I purchased from kooshman7 on the BST. The rich yogurt like consistency of the lather along with the cushioning was quite impressive, so I have to get more!

The only drawback this soap had was the scent--Sandalwood and Rose--it was too much sweet rose and hardly any sandalwood. I like sandalwood and rose scented products, either on their own or in combination, but this one just didn't do it for me. Are the other MB rose scented products similar to this one? What MB soap do you suggest I try next?

I have not tried any of the rose varients, sorry. My personal favorites are Masculine Musk and Turkish Mocha. I hope you like them too.

I bought a tub of the Mama Bears Czar's Choice - Cilantro & Lime from a member here on B&B. It arrived today and after my shower I used it for a shave. It has a really fresh scent to it and it gave a great shave. This is my first Mama Bear's soap and I really like it.

The Beau Brummel scent or the Diogenes Club scent are my votes. The Diogenes Club soap is in limited supply and was specially made for B&B members so, grab some while you can!

I really like Ye Old Barber Shoppe soap.

Awakening soap is pretty awesome. It does a fine job freezing your face off.

Don't use soaps much anymore, but I have used Ye Old Barbershoppe, Winter Grapefruit and Lime Ice. Ye Olde Barbershoppe was my favorite of the 3.

Mama Bear's Roses is good, and I think her Chypres Rose is exceptional.

Chypre by Coty enjoyed such success in 1917 that "chypre" is now a generic name for a whole category of timeless, classic perfumes. The compositions are based on oak moss, ciste-labdanum, patchouli and bergamot accords. The richness of chypre notes mixes wonderfully with fruity or floral notes. This family is made up of distinguished, instantly recognizable fragrances. Chypre Rose is a harmonic blend of oakmoss, lavender, moccasin rose, sweet tuberose, hints of patchouli & amber, and a light powder finish, this is definitely a rose scent created with a gentleman in mind

I like rose scents. How would you describes Chypre Rose? How is it similar and different from Sandalwood & Rose (if you tried S&R)?

Others that caught my attention are: Turkish Bazaar, Masculine Musk, British Leather, and the Seasonal Grapefruit. Thoughts on these?

My personal favorite. For now, tho, it's out of stock. We're thinking about putting up a cilantro-lime-ice (menthol) version next spring.
