Lucky Scent Samples

I was researching a cologne for sale on B/S/T when I stumbled across the Lucky Scent website. They offer samples for many of their products so I ordered a bunch and now I'm waiting for them to arrive. Has anyone tried any of these and what did you think? Also, they are pricey so how is Lucky Scent from a price perspective?

Lucky Scent is great. A good source for samples. From a price perspective- it's no deal, but few if any of the scents they sell can be had cheaper. They carry mostly high end niche scents.

Of your list below, I only know that C&S No. 88 can be found cheaper.

It's a nice selection you have there. I went on a rose hunt last year and tried or bought most of those.

I have Rose 31, No. 88 and Domenico Caraceni and they are all killer (but me and No. 88 don't get along).

Seems like I sniffed Rose Oud and while nice, it was $$$$. Voleur de Roses worth your testing it. It was too much ...something... for me.

Caraceni is super elegant and dressy. Unbelievably so.
Rose 31 is modern and versatile.

Just go ahead and snag a full bottle of the Caraceni. It's one of the best. To paraphrase the stylish west coast gentleman, it is stunningly good.

I have never seen a single report of it being available anywhere else in US. And I've hunted.
For all I know they sell it in the Italian equivalent of 7-11 or Walgreens. But here in US, Lucky Scent only.

They also support it with an opulent and magnificent shave cream. Plus shower gel and shampoo.

Yes- full bottle. TPC has samples or small decants.

I got a package in the mail today with my little spray bottles and vials of the scents I picked out listed above.

I decided to spray on Le Labo Rose 31 and then have SWMBO take a whiff. She smelled it and said she liked it. She thought it was a little strong but I'm guessing it will mellow in a bit.

She asked to smell again and said, "Now I know what to get you for Christmas!" I told her not to make a decision yet because I still have 5 more samples to go!

^^^^ Yes, Rose 31, like most of the Le Labos, has a huge burst open. As you will soon find, it calms down a lot. About the first half hour is when it really explodes.

I small squirt on each wrist and it has lasted for hours. I'm not sure what I'll try in the morning but I really liked the Rose 31.

I tried this one today and received very positive reviews. SWMBO said that it wasn't as strong as the Rose 31 and that it doesn't smell like most other colognes.

I love the subtleness of it and can't wait to see how it changes on my skin throughout the day.
