Low cost shaving storage / display

I started wet shaving a bout 18 months ago. Started to collect gear and the one shelf in the medicine cabinet didn't cut it anymore. Talked to the wife she finally came around and organized the bathroom and I got a drawer. She cleaned off the sink counter space and I finally had a nice place to shave. The other day she came home with some spice racks for me to hang and asked if they would work for my shaving supplies. What a great Idea ! She liked the outcome so much she surprised me last week removed all her pictures and decorations on the bathroom wall and had ordered me a framed and matted Norman Rockwell print " The Full Treatment" and four other shaving related prints. What a gal.
She calls it my shave cave.

Ikea 4-racks 3.88 ea. you can pick them up in store or on line. Apparently they sell a lot of them.

I like your adaptation of spice racks for storing shaving stuff! My SWMBO WOULD NOT BE PLEASED IF i DID SOMETHING LIKE THAT, HOWEVER.

Gentleman,
Thanks for all the nice reply's. I'll be sure and let the wife know about all the compliments. It was her Idea to begin with. My wife has truly made be a better person and she is a keeper for over 22 years. Hell I hope she never wants to get rid of me :001_huh:

I just wanted to add standard soap tubs wont fit on the rack with the bar on. you can flip one like I did or leave the bar off it won't affect the shelf at all.The soaps/creams will fit fine that way. Each end is secured with 2 screws and a dowel. Pretty sturdy little things.
Anyway I hope this gives you gents alternative ideas on storing your gear at a great price.
