Love my FB but my Slim shaves me closer.

Love both my "classic" adjustables but opened up all the way the slim ALWAYS shaves me closer than the Fatboy. Don't know why. Can use same blades, same lather/prep etc but that slim just cuts me closer...

So my dilemma is I love the LOOK and FEEL of the FB but prefer the shave of the slim.

Am I going nuts?

A lot of people feel the same way. They have different heads, compare the two closely, one has a flatter head while the other is more domed.
I like them both although I shave mostly with straights but every now and then the DE just calls on me, guess they feel neglected...

Go with works best for you, I suppose. Don't have a FB, but when I switched from an EJ with a Weber BD handle to my Slim I wondered if I'd like the feel. Still feels a little skinny, but I like it.

I prefer my slim too. it's a tad longer and a touch heavier, makes all the difference in terms of balance and feel.

add in the extra length of the Slim vs FB and it's a totally different razor.

In my eyes, the SLIM is the best adjustable razor out there and a best buy.

FB: Weight: 78.7 g

I feel the same, I've seen a member put Schick Krona on a FB. I think about get me a superspeed with descent silodoors and just put them on that Fatboy.
Should be a great shave, or what do you gentlemen think about that?

For me the head on the Slim feels more substantial. I use both, but prefer the Slim.

I'll have to admit that as much as I like my Fatboys, I get better shaves with other razors. But there's just something about a Fatboy that goes beyond shave quality.

I feel the same way, I love the feel of my Fatboy but the Slim just shaves better
