I have a Rooney super silver tip, style 3 size 2. I usually tend to lose 1-2 sometimes 3 hairs per shave. I expected more from an expernsive brush as this, is it normal for a Rooney?

After a week or so, I would not expect any brush to be losing 2-3 hairs per shave. I would only expect hair loss during the first week or so. Then, maybe an occasional hair here or there, but not 2 or 3 per shave. None of my three Rooney brushes are losing hairs each shave.
No, not normal at all. I have a heritage victorian and 2/1. The victorian hasn't dropped a hair in 6 months of use. I am on my second 2/1, as the first was a shedder. My vendor was very accomodating, and sent me a replacement after we confirmed that it was a shedder. Essentially, he had me wash the brush with regular shampoo and let it dry. Took a comb to the brush to remove as many lose/unsecured hairs as possible, and then use the brush every day for a week. Since it was still shedding after that, he kindly exchanged it. If you just got the brush, I would use it for awhile more and see if it continues to shed and if it does, then contact your vendor to plan a next step.

Both of my 3/1 (pure and super silvertip) shed maybe six or so hairs in the first few days, and I've only seen one out of the silver since then, and none from the pure.
