L'Oreal Men's Expert Vita Lift Anti-Wrinkle & Firming Moisturizer - AMAZING STUFF

Ok.. let me first say I have tried many, many creams and lotions out there. I am a 40 year old fair skinned, dirty blonde haired Swede who has always had super sensitive skin (which has caused me to try so many of the creams on the market). Well I was doing some research a couple of weekends ago and read where people were recommending Nivea Sensitive Post Shave Balm, so I went out to the local Walgreens and got some. Honestly, I can’t knock the stuff but do think my face has a bit of a reaction to something in it. (my face puffed up right under my right eye like I had been punched or something). It’s not bad stuff and I still have the bottle and may try it out again, BUT... 2 weeks ago something made me pick up the L'Oreal Men's Expert Vita Lift Anti-Wrinkle & Firming Moisturizer. WOW! Really, try it for 3 days, I even put it on at night sometimes and tell me if after 3 days your skin does not feel and look different. The stuff is amazing and with my skin so moisturized and soft, I swear shaving is even easier. Target sells this stuff and so does drugstore.com . Well this week I was walking down the shaving isle doing my normal weekly shopping in Target and I saw they also have the L’Oreal shave balm for about $3 less and the bottle is double the size of the Vita Life Moisturizer so I said I am so thrilled with the moisturizer, let’s see if I can save a couple bucks, get double the size of the bottle and be just as happy. Sadly, the answer is no, the L'Oreal Men's Expert Vita Lift Anti-Wrinkle & Firming is soooo much better then the balm.
If you are looking for a good cream, try it, its the L'Oreal Men's Expert Vita Lift Anti-Wrinkle & Firming Moisturizer but definitely seems to soothe the shaving symptoms like a balm will. It does not leave your face shiny, icky or anything of the likes. Target sells it for 9.39 or something like that, drugstore.com I see is currently 8.79 and they just sent me a 15% off coupon so I know I am picking up about 10 bottles of this stuff to stock pile it in case they ever change the formula or discontinue it. 10 bottles will run me about $75 and will probably last well over a year or maybe even 2. And to think, I just picked up some TGR for $40+ a bottle and it is nothing even close to as good as this Loreal stuff is.

I was looking at the bottle this morning. It does say on it "vita lift soothes razor burn". And it sure does... it makes sure you get no redness or any after effects.

I was looking at the L'Oreal men's products as well but I found that all of them have parabens and that made me turn to Neutrogena instead. Neutrogena has parabens in one or two products but not in all of them.

Maybe I'm being overly paranoid about parabens so if you can persuade me otherwise, I'm all ears.

If it works for you.. it works for you. I can understand if you want to avoid parabens and if you truly fear them, then peace of mind is more important. Whatever you feel most comfortable with and works for you. I just never came across anything so good as this. (give it a few days although you will probably notice the difference within the first day or so). I just picked up 12 bottles of the stuff for $95 (drugstore.com emailed me a 15% click through email for a one year anniversary; I guess I purchased something from them a year ago today. Anyway, it’s that good that I decided to buy 12 bottles and hoard it in case something happens to the product and it’s no longer available. lol

Truth be told... I don't really know all the ins and outs of parabens other than they have been linked to increase estrogen and increase chances of breast cancer in women. I know there are no conclusive evidence that they harm men but if it's a cancer related chemical, then I'm better off avoiding it.

With that said, I'd love to hear some counterpoints or further details as I may be completely paranoid for no reason at all.

Picked me up a couple bottles of these off of drugstore.com after going through a $37 container of Kiehl's Facial Fuel Anti-Wrinkle Cream over the past couple months. I've used the Loreal cream before, but it was the SPF 15 variety and I didn't use it very consistantly. The Kiehl's cream I used twice a day for a couple months and have had pretty good results, but it is expensive stuff. I'll give this a go. It costs about 1/4 the price of Kiehl's for the same amount of product. It's worth a shot.
