Lord Platinum, do they have batch variances?

As we all know some blades have huge batch variances. One blade is great, the next one from another batch or even within the same batch, is horrible.

This evening for the first time ever, I shaved with a Lord Platinum blade (it was included with a newly acquired Lord L6 razor). I have to say that I was impressed with this blade. It was sharp yet not too sharp and it was smmooooothhhh...

Now I'm considering buying more but would like to if there are lots of variances between batches. Or if they're pretty much always the same.

I shave with Lords exclusively. In 20 years I’ve never had a bad one.

I've been using Lord Plats on and off since 2010, and they have been reasonably consistent. They are one of my favorite blades in my Gillette Slim Adjustable.

The Lord Shark Platinums are a favorite of mine.

I need to try more offerings from Lord Egypt.

I will buy a couple tucks of Lord Platinum the next time I go to my local wet shaving store.

My favorite blade is Lord Silver Star!
I have used a lot of Lord Platinum as well, and they have always been good to me, except for one 5-pack where all the blades was sharpened on one side only.
