Looking for some cream advice

I'm looking for shaving cream that fits the following criteria (I am also looking for pre-shave, after shave and shave soaps that meet the same criteria):

good protection for my skin
any help softening my tough beard
paraben free
prefer natural and organic as possible

What I have found so far:
Queen Charlotte Soaps has a line that seems to fit the chem free criteria. I ordered samples of their entire scent line, a full order of their limited edition scent, and some aftershave, and one of their shaving soaps.

I have also ordered some of Mike's Soap.

I am having a hard time tracking down the ingredients on MR GLO. Anyone know what is in the (as far as unwanted chemicals?)

Thanks all, this place has been an incredible source of information (and bank account draining).

In my opinion, you need look no further.

Are you saying I already hit the sweet spot with the Queen Charlotte and Mike's products?

If so, than perhaps I won't look any further. I was hoping that if there were clearly superior products out there that someone would tell me about them here.

Sounds like Weleda and Kiss my Face are worth looking at as I start using up my current stash (or maybe sooner, as I really am getting into the hobby side of wet shaving).

Thanks for the pointers guys!

Don't leave out....KISS MY FACE...Great product and low price. I think many dismiss it because it is cheap. It is cheap, as in low cost, not in quality.

I have tried out a lot of the more natural creams and I would say Nancy Boy is my favorite out of them. Mike's is pretty good, didn't like Kiss my Face. Queens is still on my list to try. If you want a cheaper option, Pacific Shaving Company makes as a pretty good one as well.

Havent tried QCS, but have tested KMF and Nancy Boy. For me, there was no comparison in performance between these two, Nancy Boy gave me a much better shave. If you go to Nancy Boy's website, they have smaller sample jars. Sign up for their newsletter and you can get 15% off.

Thanks for all the continued suggestions.

Money is not the object right now. Comfort and health concerns are. I am estimating I have spent at least $500 in the 2 weeks that I have been tooling up for DE wet shaving. This will eventually taper off, but I am looking for a lifelong escape from my shaving past, so whatever it takes to get there for the future is worth it.
