Looking for Lime

Spring is coming, and I have a healthy supply of more 'bodied' scents so I'm thinking a citrus scented cream would be nice for the warmer weather to come.

I'm 5 months young in this hobby and have yet to sample any citrus software other than Sue's SCS Mediterranean Splash (which I love). So, any recommendations?

Godrej Deluxe Lime smells decent. Godrej makes great creams. It's not as natural smelling as I'd lik, but it's not bad, and it can be had for about $6 shipped from ShaveABuck.

Castle Forbes Lime is my favorite citrus cream, and one of my favorite creams period. Thick, luxurious lather, a comfortable shave and a fantastic lime scent.

Castle Forbes Lime Oil is the very best lime scented cream available.
And the only one that has a TRUE lime fragrance.
As about how CF Lime Oil shaves, well I can simply say "Wow!".

Other good options are T&H West Indian Limes and Trumpers Extract of Limes.

Agreed. It smells better in the bowl than it does fresh out of the tube. Lather is good either way.

OP, I'm going to disagree with the Castle Forbes chorus. Is it an excellent performer? Yes. Is it the best lime scent? Well, it's certainly the strongest. I think it smells too much like an essential citrus oil cleaner, which is a shame b/c I really wanted to enjoy it.

Nearly everyone disagrees with me on the strength of the scent, but I really like Kiss My Face Key Limes. Very affordable, great lather, and zesty scent. Of course lots of guys say they can barely smell it. But if you try it and are one of those, I'll be gald to take it off your hands.

Palmolive actually makes what I hear is a fantastic lime cream, which I'll try eventually but I'm not into lime these days.

I used to use Mach 3 shave gel in a can, which I loved because it was lime scented. So of course this topic interests me.

I'm with Emmett on this one. I prefer both the T&H and the Trumpers offerings to the Castle Forbes (although the quality of the CF cream is probably slightly better).

I can't decide whether I like T&H or Trumper's better. They're both outstanding.

For a soap, QED Lime is pretty good. Not overly sweet.

You nailed the CF here. It is a wonderful product and true Lime, but cleaning products have copied this scent and that ruined it for me. YMMV. Guys love it for a reason though.

I use AOS lemon soap and lemon cream now for the citrus fix. Everyone should try the TOBS though for the price.

If I didn't use citrus cleaners it might not have been apparent to me, but yeah. For sure.

I found a tube of Dettol "Fresh" at a local Indian grocer for $2.99, and have been very happy with it. I am a newbie and have not tried all the expensive products, but it may be worth a try if you can find it locally.

this is a great cream, but there is barely any lime scent in it at all, especially when compared with the T&H or Trumper's offerings.

A member on here has a site - shavingessentials.biz - that has their house brand, Wesley & Scott... I ordered the lime SC and AS a few months back; very good product, a lot of natural ingredients (e.g., aloe as a main ingredient) and a very modest price point. I note the SC's are not listed on his site at present, but this might be because it has recently received a major overhaul and has yet to be added; shoot him an email, it'l be worth it.

If you want a cream with a nice zesty fresh scent, then you should give Salter's citrus a try, its scented with Grapefruit E.O.
