I found a local guy to make a brush out of African blackwood which is stupid expensive for $35 with labor. He has a stockpile of rare woods and the piece i used for my brush by itself at a wood store is like $40 for the wood alone. Im gonna get him to use all good woods black and white ebony, blue mahoe, and kingswood. I managed to get a small piece of boise de rose from a yard sale of a deceased wood worker and I really dont want to even use it.

Just received a Farvour in Finest, on sale. Brush 120 on his thread. Amazing brush for the price, pictures don't do justice to the patterning in the yellow and purple of the handle. I don't know how much better a Sabini knot can be.... I just know I can't afford one. Someday I'll get a Vey and a Neep, too, I expect. Bob's has surpassed expectations; so far, this much I know.
AcebyTerror makes beautiful brushes from exotic woods, in fact made my first brush for me. Rob also has a tremendous display of his skill as a PIF right now.
Paladin is the easiest to work with and it helps that I find their handles most appealingRecently I have had the desire to get myself a custom made shaving brush. I have looked into shavemac but I know we have some members here that make a wonderful shaving brush as well! With that if you make or know of a member who does make custom brushes speak up please!
