Gents, I have been racking my brain for the past month trying to remember an Italian cologne from the 60's or 50's. It's still sold today. It is not Puig or Rochas. The scent is soapy. Who knows?
Maliza Uomo?
Pino Silvestre?
Acqua di Selva?
Capucci?
That's it. Thank you.
I am wearing Acca Kappa White Moss today, another Italian cologne. It reminds me of ADS quite a bit. It also reminds me of my father. We wore ADS or Bay Rum on Fridays before he went out with his friends.
I will have to order some.
Armani?
The original men's Armani was introduced in 1984. It's still great, though, and fortunately still in production.
Acqua di Selva is fantastic!
One of the best.
Can you provide more? Is it mossy or more "green"? Soapy? Never tried it but am now curious-
Citrus top, and a soapy/pine-y clean base. Really nice. Can you provide more? Is it mossy or more "green"? Soapy? Never tried it but am now curious-
I get no boiled cabbage smell at all from it.These guys have it on sale for $13 - tempting as a blind buy at that price in spite of the "boiled cabbage" reservations raised in some basenotes reviews.
