Looking for a LAVENDER cologne

I'm looking for a LAVENDER cologne that smells like Truefitt & Hills shaving cream. Tried Yardley and it doesn't come close. Any suggestions?

I imagine somebody will be along pretty soon with some good recommendations. I have been unsatisfied with all of the lavender colognes that I've tried, so I'm eager to hear what people suggest. I will say that a great pure lavender aftershave is Caldey Island (Caldey Abbey). The monks also make cologne, but I haven't tried it.

I ordered a sample from Perfumed Court

C&S Oxford and Cambridge is primarily lavender based. Acqua di Parma has lavender in the mid-notes, but probably not what you are looking for, if you want a pure lavender fragrance.

Can anyone here comment on Taylor of Old Bond Street Luxury Lavender? It gets about zero press compared to Atkinson's but I wonder if it is worth a look?

Regards, Todd

"Eau de L'Occitan" (no 'e') by L'Occitane is a pretty wonderful lavender. Basically lavender anchored by wood and some pepper and nutmeg. Beautiful and natural-smelling.

+1 on the C&S O&C.

Also, Creed Royal Scottish Lavender.

I can't reference it against T&H shave cream, but Creeds RSL is a winner to me. It is a great wet shaver scent for sure. But I do find it's longevity a bit lacking. I think that's likely true with a lot of lavender based scents though.

It's very Creed-ish.

Another lavender that gets some praise (Turin liked it) is Odori Spigo. Supposedly an excellent lavender/vanilla combo. I haven't yet tried it myself. It is super pricey. I have two of the Odori frags: Tabacco and Cuoio. They are excellent.

try guerlain jicky/ mouchoir de monsieur or caron pour un homme.i like lavender more in room and linen sprays. i spray some on my clothes and they smell good! mmm! i use a local one but i'd imagine you can buy a litre of agua lavanda by antonio puig in the cologne concentration and splash liberally on your clothes. it also has an edt but i have no experience with it. it was frank sinatra favorite i hear.

oops sorry! you didn't mention sears. i have no sears in my country so wouldn't know what is there. the puig is a cheapie. actually so is the caron. maybe you can easily find it there since the puigs i get here are from the US. i've tried the t&h shaving cream and don't particularly remember a scent. i smelled more lavender in kmf lavender. that t&h was for sensitive skin no? what about gendarme 20? it is also for sensitive allergies. i have yardley lavender pomade. it smells too medicinal. does the cologne smell similar to the pomade?
