Looking for a good aftershave

I've just started wet shaving, and have been using a splash of witch hazel followed by some Burt's Bees Aftershave balm. While this works fine, I'm not crazy about the scent of the balm. I'm looking for recommendations on a better smelling aftershave balm. I really like stuff like Tommy Hilfiger cologne, and the Baker St shave soap from the Strop Shoppe. So something that smell like those would be great...

Avon makes a decent (and inexpensive) after shave conditioner (light balm) in a variety of scents. I haven't smelled the ones you mentioned so I'm afraid I can't compare.

I haven't smelled the one you mention either, but i fint musco real splash really nice. smells and feel good. And it has glycerin in it so i don't feel dry after using it. Proraso is really nice to, and GFT skin food.

After my Witch Hazel I use Proraso Aftershave Liquid Cream. It also has Witch Hazel so you get a double dose.

Highly recommended.

You really need to try and describe the scent you are looking for.

I, like everyone else who has responded, have no idea what Tommy Hilfiger cologne, and Baker St shave soap smells like.

Is it floral? Musky? Sandalwood?

Need a hint as to what you are after.

In my very limited use of after shave (must admit I'm more of a balm guy) I have found a fairly large distinction: my Prorazo gives a sharp but short sting on contact, but my RR King Louis after shave lotion (don't know why they call it a lotion - pretty watery stuff) has no discernible sting. I personally don't miss the sting at all. I assume it's the alcohol content.

Most designer colognes have an aftershave splash and/or balm counterpart. They typically come in gift sets for just a few bucks more than the cologne alone. So if you like Tommy, that'd be a good place to start.
