petercle,

The Aos creams and soaps are rated as among the best around here :thumbup1:

As for their brushes, they are rebranded (Plissons are the expensive ones, others I'm not sure). You can get them at a much better price fromt he manufacturer or an online vendor.

Nah, AoS brushes are overpriced. How new are you? If this is your first brush I would recommend a $11 Tweezerman, it's a GREAT brush for the price.

The first good brush I got was from emsplace.com. Very affordable and good quality imo. Check 'em out (pun intented).
P.S. Don't buy one of those AoS brushes they'll screw you over.

Or make your own...some of the restoration projects I've seen people attempt are absolutely gorgeous...and you get the satisfaction of shaving with a brush you created...

sorry guys, i wanted to get the badger now, and not have to wait, because i was getting sick of this cheap boar brush i bought at Rite Aid. And i've seen that they had the $100 shaving kit for $75...the brush was for $55 so for about 25 bucks i can get the 100 shaving kit...the plus was that i would get to try their sandalwood scent. Ive already got lavender and was looking to get sandalwood later on. The lavender is creamy and slick so i know that i couldn't go wrong....2nd i was running out of ASB and oil...so all in all it workout great!
As for the badger brush...why did i every wait so long to get one!!!...lathered more beautiful than i could ever imagine...it ROCKS

thanks anyways
