Long-lasting aftershaves

I am curious to hear what are some of your favorite longer-lasting aftershaves that could, perhaps, be used in lieu of cologne.

I have a sample of TSD Sandalwood that is real nice and lasts a long time on me. But their sample of Cool Water doesn't last so long.

Other A/S I have tried:

Irisch Moos - lasts, don't like
Proraso - doesn't last, like
SCS Bay rum w/ Twist - lasts moderately, like moderately
SCS sandalwood splash - lasts moderately, like moderately
SCS Mediterranean Citrus - lasts moderately, like moderately
MB orange menthol summer a/s milk - doesn't last, don't like
MB Mountain Waters summer a/s milk - lasts, like moderately
Ogallala Bay Rum Limes & Peppercorn - lasts, like moderately

Coming soon (in the mail): Speick lotion, which I have heard does not last, and Musgo Real, which I have heard does.

Easy choice for me would be Alt-Innsbruck. I shave at night and can still smell it in the shower the next morning.

of all the classic AS i'd say pinaud clubman lasts the longest, i'm talking a good 5-6 hours! mind you, i've only used about 8 different scents, but so far clubman out lasts them all.

Easy choice for me would be Alt-Innsbruck. I shave at night and can still smell it in the shower the next morning.

I shave in the morning, around 6am. If I use AI, I can still smell it a bit when I first rinse my face off in the shower the following morning, like the faint aroma of fresh tobacco in the breeze. It's got some great staying power, without being over-powering while you wear it. Lovely stuff.

I'd say Lilac Vegetal has the same effect. I often splash a little cool water on my face in the afternoon to "awaken" the aroma a bit, especially on warm days. Actually, I'll do that with most any AS.

Musgo Real lasts all day on me. Also, it's not really my cup of tea, but Clubman is a formidable scent. I can still catch whiffs of it after I shower the next morning. I need to try Clubman Vanilla. If it has a nice vanilla scent and the staying power of Clubman then it might make my short list along with Musgo.

I have to agree here. I find that Pinaud Clubman lasts pretty much all day for me. I would also add English Leather, Old Spice and Aqua Velva in descending order.

Harris Sandalwood lasts forever. On the other hand, if you're looking for long lasting, why not move on to a cologne?

+1 Pinaud Clubman. Did somebody say this stuff doesn't "burn" after shaving? I must be a wimp!
I really like the scent of this famous aftershave. It is just like others have said. It takes me back to barbershop days when I was a kid in Miami. I will always have this around from now on. I like the feel of a balm better but the scent of this original aftershave is classic and does stay with me for a while.

+1 I have found this one to be very long lasting. Pinaud Special Reserve is also strong and long lasting. Pinaud Clubman, Musk and Vanilla Musk also hang around, but not as long as the Special Reserve. Of course the Veg (Pinaud Lilac Vegetal) clings too, much longer than many want it too (I personally love the stuff). Masters Lord and Master as well as Topaz and Challenge also have staying power.

Does on me, although it evolves into a lighter, subtle floral scent. I think the bottom line with the Veg is that it really treats everyone differently.

I have tried several other Sandalwood AS and D.R.'s last the longest on me.
