L'Occitane Shea Butter Pure Shea Butter

Does anyone use or have experience with L'Occitane Pure Shea Butter?

If so what do use it for and when?

I am trying as an aftershave balm.

100% shea butter is great for your skin. I use it to soften and seal in moisture everywhere as a skin conditioner. I have no experience with L'Occitane Pure Shea Butter but I think it is grossly overpriced. You can literally buy 5 pounds of pure raw shea butter for around $10 on Amazon.

I just tried it as an after shave.

I have oily skin, but read that Shea butter can still sooth. My face felt like an oil slick even after several hours.

I am curious if anyone has tried it as a pre shave application like an oil?

I have used shea butter as a pre shave and post shave balm and it works quite well. You might want to use much less product if your face is oily several hours after application.

I have an oily skin and use it almost every day. I shave at evening apply after splash (when I use balm I do not go for the butter) it goes on greasy but skin looks radiant in the morning.

I would suggest to shop around because L'Occitaneis overpriced I get mine from sheaterraorganics

It's nice stuff, but yeah, like said, 'tis 'spensive. Personally, I don't like shea butter on face, at least not as far with the products I've tried, but for your hands, it's amazing. Their line of shea butter hand products are amazing.
