So if you see it....get it! It's great stuff!

I there anything the layman can do? It seems silly to suggest online petitions and letter-writing, but the splash is my staple.

L'Occitane continues with a dozen or so verbena products, but discards this???

They need to drop the balm before this. I wrote them back asking why. We shall see.

I enjoy the balm and the splash equally well. Splash for summer and balm for the dry winter months perhaps?? Hopefully they will realize the big demand for this great aftershave and start making it again. I just found it on Amazon and a couple other websites. Maybe we should stock up?

Well ain't that a hell of a note. There was a thread a few months back where a gent in Europe was telling us the Cade splash was out of production, and none of us believed him because it was still listed on the US site. Evidently he was right. Just another reason why I don't like L'Occitane. They tweak their product offerings - and their formulations - more often than Madonna changes hairstyles. (Is that still a current analogy?)

Walked into L'Occitane store at lunch and picked up one of the last four bottles in the store and I asked the sales lady if those were the last bottles and she said they placed an order last month but haven't received it

She had no idea they're phasing it out!

I had a similar experience....the local store mgr. said she doesn't know, but I got an email from a customer rep that said it was a goner.

Man, I've tried to stay loyal to this company, but this may be critical mass--they seldom have samples of their various scents, the soap refill (which I really like) is sized so that it won't fit any other bowls, just their $28 one, and every time the website has a sale, the products are out-of-stock. Now this.

I told the customer rep who emailed me someone better check the forums because they don't get much love for such an awesome product line and this is just going to push people away.

I'm gong back tomorrow and picking up another soap and splash just in case we have to go underground for any reason.

So I got off the phone with L'Occitane USA yesterday because I hear this rumor that the Cade AS splash is being discontinued even after I called last month and got the 'ol "certainly not, it's a great seller" from a rep and wouldn't you know that now the story is that it is indeed discontinued. In fact she said she had a PSA in her possesion stating that production had already ceased and the stock they have is depleted. She also alluded that a new form of it or a fragrance may be coming out around Father's day but could not confirm it. Don't hold your breath, although blue IS my favorite color

I guess that a reformulation is plausible. I was talking with the manager at my local store and she told me that this is a huge seller for them and they get lots of complaints that it isn't included in the men's kits. I've always thought that l'Occitane had weird policies for managing their ranges and it seems foolish to write this one off if it's making money.

I wouldn't mind if they reformulated, and I've wanted them to introduce new splashes for a long time. I just don't want them to do away with the original.

Yes. I called today to pick a bottle up for my neighbor and they 2 bottles left.

My shavepocalypse stockpile is almost complete. I'll probably put one bottle in a fireproof box just in case.
