Lime scented AS and or ASB

Hello all. Im new btw but I'm just going to jump right in. Looking for a nice lime AS/ASB for Christmas for myself. Anyone have suggestions on what to go with? I currently have Royall Lyme that I use as a cologne. I don't use as an AS b/c it has alcohol and I try to stay away from that b/c I always heard it would dry out your face (and make you look older:ohmy:). Reasonably priced would be preferred, maybe no more than 50 bucks or so. Any help is much appreciated.

I should add ... a few drops of Lime Essential Oil mixed into any unscented balm you happen to like will turn it into a Limd-scented balm.

+2 on the Trumpers with honorable mention to Pinaud Lime Sec and Pinaud Citrus Musk. The Trumpers is very soothing and I us it after I apply either of the Pinaud product for their "wake me up" scent. No alcohol in the Trumpers, lots in Pinaud. Trumpers ain't cheap but can be had for under your $50 limit. Either of the Pinaud products can be had for less than $10 apiece. The Lime Sec is sort of a "Jolly Rancher" version of Lime from a scent stand point, the Citrus Musk is sharper and less sweet with possibly some lemon undertones as well. Not much in the musk dept.

St. Lucia Citrocol. Not too expensive, comes in a bottle like Dominica but with a cork. A semi-sweet fairly long lasting lime AS/Col.

Castle Forbes Lime Oil a/s balm is the best you can get in my opinion. You don't have to get the large bottle if you are just trying this out as they do a travel size as far as I know.

I used to follow Patrick Bateman's advice too. I switched to alcohol aftershaves for the astringent and the scent. If you apply a moisturizer after the alcohol you will not look older. Well at least not from the alcohol at least.

I'm really excited to read all of these replies. Thanks a bunch for offering your bits of wisdom on the subject. I cant wait to try some of these. And actually, after reading alot on these forums, I have decided to give an aftershave splash a try; even if Patrick Bateman would advise against it. :scared:

+1 on Lime Sec
Avon Island Lime is a good vintage AS that appears on the bay every now and again. Florida Water has a spicy citrus scent that you may like.

Caswell Massey is the only one I have even though lime is my favorite scent. It goes on super strong but unfortunately fades very quickly to nothing.
