"Leaving the Comfort Zone" Theme Week. SOTD: 4 February 2013 - 10 February 2013

Well I am out and about traveling for work for a week. I thought it would be nice to see what people would take with them if forced to leave their comfort zone. I personally shave with straights 99% of the time. I dont trust the TSA, nor do I want to risk damaging a strop. So I brought my Merkur 39c DE.

When you are in full blown trial prep, there is no such thing as a comfort zone. Combine that with Superbowl Sunday, and I wound up without shaving. Of course, I can make all the excuses in the world. As a true Chiefs fan, I know that my failure to shave this morning was driven by my unbridled excitement about the Chiefs' upcoming selection of Leon Sandcastle with the number one overall pick in the draft!

I had not shaved since Thursday so I gave the Revisor a quick touch up of it's edge to make sure it was up to the job. It sliced through the stubble with absolute ease. A wonderful shave that was definitely not outside of the comfort zone.
