Leaky Nib

I know the picture isn't the best, but my nib seems to "leak" around the edges. It doesn't seem to cause any problems aside from some ink in the cap.

Any thoughts?

May just be a bit of Nib creep from the ink. What kind of ink is in there ?

I'm thinking nib creep, also. Try a different ink...a different brand...and see if it continues.

I'm using noodlers dark matter. I'll give some other ink a try. So some inks behave differently in different pens? I would have never guessed.

Noodler's, in particular, is prone to nib creep. I still like many of their colors, but it can get messy.

Time perhaps, to post this link again, although it doesn't completely convince everyone around here, and I don't know for certain myself. Regardless of the role the nib itself may play, certainly the ink can be a major factor. I've given up on Noodler's La Reine Mauve as a fountain pen ink, although I use it from time to time with my dip pens.
