Lea Shaving Cream

I was piffed some Lea shaving cream and gave it a try last night. I ended up really liking it. I did a 2 pass WTG shave and it turned out really smooth. I just put a snurdle directly on my Semogue 1800 and face lathered. It whipped up as nice as Arko does and there was plenty on the brush for a 2nd pass.

I hunted around for some Lea threads, but since it is a 3 letter word, the search function won't search for it. Just wondering what everyone here thinks of it.

I was gifted some Lea by the site's official ambassador, and I think it's a terrific little cream that somehow managed to fly under the radar.

I think it's great. I've got the mentholated and sensitive creams, both are great. The menthol cream has a real kick. I've got the soap stick and the AS balm too, also nice.

I think it's a great cream but the scent isn't the greatest. At some point I'll get the menthol, I hear it has quite a menthol kick to it.

What I really like is the Lea ASB. That stuff is fantastic.

I use the Lea Mentholated and Sensitive as part of my regular rotation of creams, both are an outstanding product for the price. The mentholated has more kick than most others, it makes Proraso seem like it has no menthol at all. They are great products to be had for little money.

I tried LEA sensitive a few times and didn't care for it. There just wasn't enough slickness/protection for me to consider it a decent cream. I know it's cheap, but there are other creams almost as cheap that perform much better. YMMV.

I didn't realize there was so much more Lea stuff out there. I really want to try the menthol cream now. I love cream with a kick.

Indian Vi-John ,and Italian Palmolive have good menthol kicks as well...on another note, "Vi-Jon" (not Vi-John) was an economy line of cosmetics and shave goods in America in the 50's and 60's,that was competition for Lander, that produced every type of cosmetic you could name , so the story below may be slightly "skewed"...

I've used the Lea shave stick and it's very good stuff and super slick, haven't tried the cream though. The stick sat unused for almost two months because I had read poor reviews about it and I guess I was programmed to not like it, go figure.

I'm wanting to try Lea mentholated as well. Almost got a tube if it with my last order from WCS, decided to grab Ingram instead.

The cream is decent but the ASB is absolutely fantastic. I love everything about the ASB, the scent is great, light & woodsy, it absorbs quickly and has a nice light menthol kick.

Lovely...another product I'll have to try.

Any samples of the Lea ASB Garry?

Garry is a member in good standing, why not try PMing him directly. There is a good chance he won't see this thread (I can't even get through every new thread on here and I am retired, a working man certainly cannot).

I've got the Lea cream in my cupboard, waiting for its turn in my rotation. I have used the Lea stick, which I like very much, a pleasure to use.

Just got my Lea balm as well as the shave stick this morning and was suprised by the menthol kick in the ASB...not much going on in the smell department with either though:huh:

Google or Yahoo are both happy as can be to search for three letter words. Just point either one back to here:

A friend of mine brought me back a couple of tubes of Lea back from his trip to Spain! I really like it!! It gives nice protection with a nice clean scent!
