Can lapsang souchong be or is meant to be brewed gongfu style? Can you get multiple infusions out of it?

Don't know. I don't as I always brew mine strong, like builder's tea! Love it.

In general, tea ranges from big leaves to power. The bigger the leaves (or pieces) the more infusions. Of course, the amount of leaf and seep time will also play a role.
