Knot suggestion needed

Folks,

I've a really pretty ER butterscotch handle and stand that I picked up on the B/S/T a while back. It's ready for a knot, but I don't have a clue about the correct shape. Would a bulb fit inside the holder? Or is there another shape that I should be looking for?

Go with the shape you prefer most. Either a fan or bulb will set the same.

It's not setting the knot that worries me. It's how it will fit in the holder. With a fan or bulb, is half the knot going to be sticking out the front? I have a similar brush/holder that still has the original knot. It doesn't spread at all. Almost straight up and down.
