Here’s my latest accomplishment. The original knot was pretty ratty and I had a nice spare and really like the butterscotch handle. I‘m happy with the results.

Nice. Why the o-ring?...just a "trim ring"?

Not being critical, it looks fantastic, just curious.

Great question, Joe. The o-ring keeps the outside badger hairs from going stray. My grandpa used rubber bands, but I have a box of o-rings from Autozone.

I bought the knot in Scottsdale from Penchetta a few years ago but have forgotten what size it was, but about 24mm.
