Very lovely jnat up for sale! A karasu with a very nice surface and good finish. Selling it to hunt for another jnat. Asking 750 shipped to US. (Can sell in germany as well). Below is going to be the original description of the stone when I bought it.
**
This was purchased from a local barber in Tokyo about 15 years ago. As you can see, it has come out very clearly and the crow pattern is very clear and cover fully the whetstone that is almost no longer seen. The stone features incredible karasu patterns ,is a very hard Stone lv5+ yet the honing feedback is very smooooth. Although it is a fairly hard stone for professionals, it has no streaks to hit, has a very fine particles, and has sufficient polishing performance. If you sharpen it carefully, you will get a nice finished razor blade. The sharpening taste is quite hard but not too hard , and using Nagura system or atoma plate will give you a faster results. When using atoma plate you can go from 1K to 10k plus at no time , you cat then finish with gentle strokes or take it to your favor finisher. It is very universal honing stone and makes the honing process more simple and faster. As I said I got if from Japanese barber and it is the real thing , not like the all wasteful items for normal use. As a characteristic of natural whetstones, they are not as easy to use as artificial whetstones.Needless to say, crow whetstones are not suitable for those who are unfamiliar with them. It is not recommended for those who are new to sharpening or who are not familiar with natural whetstones.
Dimensions are: 19.5 cm x 7.0 cm x 2.0 cm (7 3/4 x 2 3/4 x 7/8 ).**
Will also link a video of the stone in use. Feel free to ask any questions!
