Kai's equal or better than Iridiums?

I know this could be a YMMV question but here goes.

I'm down to my last 5 pack of Kai's so it's time to order some new blades, I've never tried Super Iridium's but Kai's are becoming hard to find on e-bay & even then there around $10 for 25 as opposed to around $30 for 100 Iridium's.

I did try to do a search but Kai's keep coming up with the too short rule so I haven't had much luck in comparing them.

Has anyone used both on a regular basis that could provide some feedback, also Feather's aren't an option as there the devils work ( I get less irritation on my neck from a Dorco 301)

I confess that I have never tried Kai blades, but ...

I just checked ebay and found this:

Seems reasonable to me. If you like 'em, maybe there's no reason to switch.

Thanks for the info & the link, I guess I need to check eBay.com as opposed to using .co.uk & adding worldwide as they don't show on my original search.

I'd still like some comparison between the two as the super iridium's seem to be a huge favorite on here but at least I know where to get my kai's for sensible money.

To answer your question my rotation at the moment includes Kai, Feathers and Iridiums. Iridiums are an excellent blade, are very sharp and are very smooth. They compare favorably to the Kai. Not sure if I'd take one over the other.

As for finding the Kai's I've gone to NTGuys on ebay who is also a member here. The cost to me was under $10 for 25 and that included first class mail. The only downside is that there was no packaging other than the wrapper on each blade.

I have both Kai and Super Iridium blades. The Kais, to me, are extremely sharp and unforgving. They are not smooth. They remind me of Feathers which I don't care much for either. Super Iridiums are sharp, smooth and forgiving. They are the closest replacement for a Swedish Gillette to me. Great blades.

Where is a good place to get Iridiums? I only got two in my Sampler and liked them, would like some more and haven't seen many places that have them. I have not been impressed with Kai's.

For the same money, I prefer the Iridium blades. They seem to shave smoother for me and are as sharp, if not sharper, as the KAI blades. However, as all things shaving, YMMV.

I find the SI to be way smoother (and sharper) than the Kai blades.
