Looks to me as it is in pretty good shape, any thoughts?

Frowny is a new word for me What does it mean?
Is it the greyish patina on the steel?

Frown = center of blade worn more that the toe or heel.

Thanks, didn't notice that until now, hopefully it's just the angle of the pic that does it, we'll see when I get it in a few days.

Did it say it was shave ready? You may want to send it out to get honed as well. Those blades are nice for shaving though nice find.
